             Triclosan, an antibacterial agent used in various brands to fight oral bacteria, has been linked to developmental problems and cancer -cell growth in primates .It has been associated with serious, long term effects on human and the environment.

        In combination with water, Triclosan can produce    chloroform gas that when inhaled can cause liver problems, depression and cancer. It is a chlorophenol, a class of chemical which is suspected of causing cancer in humans.

               The more people do, to minimize their Triclosan exposure the better their health will  be. Studies have increasingly linked Triclosan to range of adverse health and environmental effects from skin irritation, endocrine disruption, bacterial and compounded antibiotic resistance, to the contamination of water and its negative impact on fragile aquatic ecosystems.
